Dear City of London 2023 Probationary Firefighter Candidate’s:

On behalf of the corporation of the City of London and London’s Fire Dept., we would like to extend our thanks for attending the 2023 Probationary Firefighter pre-qualifying exams.

You will find your unique and confidential candidate ID which will correspond with your exam scores here. Please note there are three pages of scores, you may need to scroll down to another page to see the remaining candidate IDs.

Along with your exam scores, next steps in the recruitment process will be candidate application evaluation, and interviews. While we thank all candidates for their interest in the City of London’s Fire dept., only those candidates who have been selected to move forward to the interview stage will be contacted. There will be two separate hiring rounds for two separate classes from this recruitment cycle. 

• October 2023 onboarding/ in class training: We will be contacting candidates July 19^th, 2023, onward, to schedule interviews for those moving forward in the selection process. Interviews to take effect the week of July 24^th, 2023, onward.
• January 2024 onboarding/ in class training:  We will be contacting candidates late summer and early fall 2023 for those moving forward in the selection process. Interviews to take effect Fall 2023, onward.

Please note that if you do not receive a call for the July interviews, you are still in consideration for the Fall interview/selection cycle. We will continue to post updates, as available, on this Announcements Page.

We are looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, June 25th, 2023 at the RBC Place 300 York St. London, ON. 2nd Floor. Doors open at 1pm, close at 1:50pm; exam will start at 2pm and is approx. 2.5 hours. Hall may be cool, you may want to bring a sweater. Good luck!

DATE: SUNDAY, JUNE 25TH 2023
LOCATION: RBC PLACE LONDON (Formerly London Convention Center)
300 YORK STREET, LONDON, ON N6B 1P8
DOOR OPENS: 1:00 PM
EXAM BEGINS: 2:00 PM SHARP 
DURATION: APPROXIMATELY 2.5 HOURS
 
CHECK-IN: 
Please arrive (1) one hour prior to the exam start time. 
*Exam doors will close at 1:50 pm sharp and no late entrants will be permitted.

WHAT TO BRING: 
One (1) piece of government-issued photo ID.

PARKING: 
There is parking directly under the London Convention Center for $6 .
Alternatively, there is parking directly across the street for $5.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES: 
Cell phones, electronic devices, smart watches, beverages nor food will be allowed in the exam hall. Be prepared to leave these items at home, or upon check-in with FireHire representatives. You may retrieve your personal articles upon checking out of the exam.

EXAM MARKS: 
Exam marks will be posted on www.firehire.ca on the Announcements tab approximately 2 weeks after the exam. Your marks will be posted next to your Applicant ID.
